Dorothy was my "Grammie"... An incredible woman with a beautiful heart. She was always there for me, encouraging, inspiring and loving me! I always enjoyed our root beer float conversations, still to this day I miss those afternoons... I love you Grammie and I will always have a special place in my heart where I keep all the beautiful memories of you!

"Miss me, but let me go..."

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free...

Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me - but let me go...

For this is a journey that we must all take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home...

When you are lonely, and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me - but let me go...

This of course is much easier said than done... I will forever cherish the beautiful memories of both you and Poppie... I love you both...

~ Poppie ~

Today is a sad day for me but I am sure it was a beautiful day for you. I know you welcomed Poppie to heaven with open arms... I will miss him... very much. But I know he is now in a better place and living without all the pain and restrictions of his broken body. As with you Grammie, I will always have a special place in my heart for him... We had such wonderful conversations about Poppie... He'll always be my "hero"... So I will leave it to you to show Poppie the ropes and to make sure he gets his "golden wings"... I could not have asked for better grandparents because I had the BEST... Always know that everytime I see a rainbow, a butterfly or the sun shining through the clouds I always smile and think of you, Pepaw and now Poppie... I was very blest to have had such beautiful people in my life... I love you all...

~ A Bridge called Love ~

It takes us back to brighter years, to happier sunlit days and to precious moments that will be with us always. And these fond recollections are treasured in the heart to bring us always close to those
from whom we had to part. There is a bridge of memories from earth to Heaven above... It keeps our dear ones near us It's the bridge that we call love.
